SwapForNeed helps people exchange unused items. By creating an account or accepting these rules, you agree to follow them and the privacy policy. Questions: usabusinesspartners@gmail.com.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 and able to agree to an exchange. Give accurate information, keep your account secure, and use only items you own or are authorized to trade. SwapForNeed does not verify every member, item, or ownership claim.

Pure trade

This version has no purchases, payments, or trade fees. List what you have and what you need. An accepted offer reserves both items; it is a pending swap. Confirm completion only after receiving the agreed item and handing over yours. Both people must confirm before the app marks it completed. Completed item pairs are public for three days, while private history remains saved.

Content and items that are not allowed

Do not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, or unsafe items; firearms, ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs, controlled substances, prescription medicines, adult sexual material, live animals, financial accounts, personal data, or human body parts. Do not use the service for services, employment, or transactions requiring a license or regulated transfer.

Do not post harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, scams, spam, discriminatory material, another person’s private information, or content that infringes someone else’s rights. There is no tolerance for abusive users or objectionable content. Describe faults honestly. Do not create misleading listings, fake completion records, or duplicate spam.

Reports, blocking, and moderation

Use Report on an item or message to alert the operator, or email support with the relevant listing or conversation. Use Block member to stop new contact, offers, and acceptance with that person. Blocking keeps existing history readable. Text filters reject some prohibited content before posting. Filters cannot identify every problem; operators also review reports and may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Arrange a safe exchange

Meet in a public place, inspect both items, and agree on the exchange before handing anything over. Avoid sharing home addresses or sensitive information. You are responsible for checking an item’s condition, suitability, and any legal transfer requirements. The service does not insure, guarantee, deliver, or inspect exchanges and is not a party to the trade.

Your content and account

You keep your rights to the content you submit. You give SwapForNeed permission to store, display, and process it to provide the service, including public listings and the three-day completed-swap feed. Do not upload content unless you have the right to use it. You can withdraw available listings or delete your account and personal content. Minimal anonymous transaction records may remain for other participants.

Availability and changes

This is an early service. Availability and error-free operation are not guaranteed. Features or these terms may change; changes will be posted here, and material community-rule changes may require renewed acceptance. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable law.
